Well, John Kerry's gone and stuck his foot in his mouth again. While making a speech to students at Pasadena City College yesterday, Kerry made the following statement:

You know education, if you make the most of it, and you study hard, and you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq.

And, as was to be expected, two things happened:

1. Kerry made every attempt to defend his remarks and say he really didn't say what he said.
2. the MSM made every attempt to gloss over and play down the story.
