As evidence has been showing for a long time, global climate goes in cycles - warming, cooling, warming again, cooling again, and so on (however, don't expect the global warming hype mongers at the Dead Fish Wrapper to own up to that any time soon).  This fact is demonstrated by a great graphic produced by Cliff Harris and Randy Mann at Long Range Weather (h/t Noel Sheppard).

Notice the nice cyclical movement of average temperature?  It's facts like these that the Dead Fish Wrapper would never publish.
